Shear Details partners with the Ark Church

Shear Details is a hair salon that is located in Goffstown, NH. This year they have joined the Warmth From The Millyard project to collect clothing for those in need. They have agreed to donate to the Ark Church of Manchester, NH.

The Ark Church is a run by Pastor Bob Beal. This year, they are collecting clothes to give to the homeless and Shear Details is a part of that donation as well. Instead of just donating winter coats, Pastor Beal said that he would accept any type of warm clothing because there was a need for anything and everything in the winter seasons.

As the clothing drive continues, Shear Details has collected around 100 articles of clothing which range from winter jackets to long sleeve shirts and pants.

Laura’s World Fund partners with Wilson Elementary School

Laura’s World Fund donated 50 pairs of brand new shoes and sneakers on December 7th to the Henry Wilson School!

Laura’s World Fund was founded on December 23, 2005 and began its nonproft charity
work by partnering with Rainbow 4 Children, a Swiss non-profit that shared the same
goals of helping disadvantaged children, LWF worked with Rainbow 4 Children to raise
funds to build the Nicholas Robinson School in rural Mekele, Ethiopia.

Since then, LWF has founded the construction of other schools and playgrounds. These
have brightened the hopes, as well as the faces, of the children. The schools and
playgrounds were crafted by disabled veterans of Mekele, and thus benefited not only
the children but also employed a disadvantaged sector of the Mekele workforce.

How to Get Involved

These accomplishments are only the start. Laura’s World Fund intends to spread out
into other areas of the globe but we need your help if we’re going to continue to
make a difference in the world. When a child survives on only a dollar or two a day,
every penny counts. If you would like to make a donation, volunteer, or just find
out more information, you can visit our website or contact us at the address given
